@clubpie58 oh yeah!!! the south kaibab has the best views!! We camped down at phantom range and then the next morning went up the bright angel. Man, it was wonderful. Snowing up at the rim and then summer heat at the phantom ranch. Will be doing it again but will be hiking down and hiking up same day.

3 to 5 hours to hike 3 miles ? hike down and up 14 miles total in 5.5 hours

be sure to carry a good amount of magic mushrooms for all your halluciginatic needs through out the day hiking the trails,that's a necessity for all hikers walking the grand canyon trails:).......pemits? nah,think about it,Do you really THINK a park ranger is gonna search hundreds of miles in search of someone who's camping out for one night illegally?....i'd like to see them try.Unless it's a search n resuce,they're gonna fly around for miles looking for ya.
