This is really very similar to the Sly and the Family Stone version which you can find here on Youtube, and also check out the Corinne Bailey Rae version, which though it is also a variant of the 30+ year old Sly Stone version, is beautiful. This one dang sure don't hurt the ears either.

Heard this version on Due South. Great, smooth, calming version of the song in my opinion. Thanks for the upload!

I agree with you: boring. Try the "Sly and the Family Stone" version.

She just killed the song.Doris Day sang it so much better.A whole lot better.Holly stick to your own songs and stop messing other singers songs up.I give it 2 thumbs down.

doesn't it just drive you nuts when you're looking for something, I am still searching for 'John Brown' by the Staple Singers!!

I first heard this as background music on "Northern Exposure" a TV show. I hunted for it all over and finally found out it was Holly Cole. She has done many old and semi old standards and she does the greatest job.

Originally from Bagdad Cafe? Can't be. When I was little I used to listen to my grandparents' record of Doris Day singing this song. I don't *think* I was dreaming it..... : ) TGF P.S. Whoever said "what a way to go"---spot on!
